Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) – heats a sample through a predetermined temperature profile to determine weight percent of volatiles, aromatics, and inorganic components


Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) – heats and cools a sample through a predetermined temperature program to determine the sample’s Glass Transition Temperature, Melt Temperature, and Degree of Crystallinity


Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) – used to determine the chemical bonds of a compound or substance


Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) – used to determine the identity of chemical compounds through mass differentiation
